Resilience Round Table for Older Adults In-Person
Presented by AGE of Central Texas
This interactive presentation highlights how resiliency is built and opens the floor for thoughtful discussions about the strengths and wisdom older adults contribute to this topic. Based on an article written by Dr. Tobi Abramson and Pamela Schmidt, resiliency is broken down by the neurological, psychosocial, and experiential factors that contribute to how well older adults react to adversity and explains strategies that help grow these attributes.
Attendance will be limited to the first 18 people that arrive. Registering for this program will allow the library to send reminders and updates about the event.
