Emotional Reset Program In-Person

Join this 6-week program to help support individuals experiencing emotional overwhelm or burnout. This group setting provides peer support, emotional regulation tools, and a structured path towards resilience and clarity.

This class meets every other week on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm beginning June 24.

Week 1: Grounding + Emotional Inventory 

  • Grounding: Simple breath and body scan. 
  • Check-In: Participants share what they hope to gain from the program. 
  • Core Content: Emotional vocabulary, Mood Wheel, Emotional Inventory Tool. 
  • Partner Activity: Explore recent emotions and responses. 
  • Group Reflection: Discuss insights from naming emotions aloud. 
  • Closing: Set intention; Homework: Start Emotion Log. 

Week 2: Understanding Your Emotional Landscape 

  • Grounding: 5-4-3-2-1 sensory grounding. 
  • Check-In: Emotion most felt this week. 
  • Core Content: Primary/secondary emotions, Trigger–Thought–Feeling–Action loop. 
  • Partner Activity: Explore emotional triggers. 
  • Group Reflection: Share trigger map insights. 
  • Closing: Quote reflection; Homework: Trigger Map Worksheet. 

Week 3: Emotional Regulation Tools 

  • Grounding: Box breathing. 
  • Check-In: What regulation tools worked or didn’t work. 
  • Core Content: Window of Tolerance, somatic/mental/emotional tools. 
  • Partner Activity: Share preferred tools. 
  • Group Reflection: What tool felt most effective. 
  • Closing: Visualization; Homework: Daily tool use + Coping Menu. 

Week 4: Healing Self-Talk + Inner Critic 

  • Grounding: Self-gratitude. 
  • Check-In: Reflect on self-talk experiences. 
  • Core Content: Inner critic/nurturer, reframing statements. 
  • Partner Activity: Practice reframing. 
  • Group Reflection: Effects of reframed self-talk. 
  • Closing: Mantra; Homework: Self-compassion journaling. 

Week 5: Boundaries & Emotional Protection 

  • Grounding: Protective bubble visualization. 
  • Check-In: Emotional drains. 
  • Core Content: Boundary types and scripts. 
  • Partner Activity: Practice boundary-setting language. 
  • Group Reflection: Importance and challenges of boundaries. 
  • Closing: Affirmation; Homework: Practice one boundary. 

Week 6: Integration + Future Toolkit 

  • Grounding: Future self visualization. 
  • Check-In: Group pride moment. 
  • Core Content: Build Emotional Reset Toolkit. 
  • Partner Activity: Declare a self-promise. 
  • Group Reflection: Share takeaways and next steps. 
  • Closing: Group gratitude; Invite follow-up support.
