Plant Swap & Share
Join the library in building our garden community by connecting with other gardeners and plant lovers! Bring a plant or seeds to swap with others in the community! Pest-free plants can be potted up, propagated, or cuttings.
What to bring?
- Healthy plants! Starters, houseplants, succulents, bulbs, trees, shrubs, orchids, etc. as long as you’re ready to part with them. Native Texas plants preferred for all landscape plants.
- Clearly labeled plants. (Common name, botanical name, etc.)
- Plants in soil or water. Please limit cuttings to 5 of each variety.
- Check all plants for bugs!
No plants to swap? It’s okay!
- You can also bring pots, macrame, plant art, etc.
- There may be leftover plants at the end of the meet up
- Come to socialize and network with awesome plant people!
Four benefits of a plant swap:
- Cultivates learning from those around us!
- Promotes inclusivity
- Starts a tradition
- Encourages wellness for our planet and selves
