Summer Fun for children ages 6-8: Wildlife with a Park Ranger In-Person
Join the Fun!
Children ages 6-8 meet every Wednesday in the summer beginning June 4 through July 30.
This Week's Class:
Join Park Interpreter Lauren Hartwick as we discover the critters who live in Lockhart State Park. Check out their vast collection of pelts & skulls, and learn how to ID tracks, scats and more.
Register:
Registration opens below two weeks prior to class time! You can find the registration link below. Please make sure you are registering for the correct age range as we gear our classes specifically for this age group. There are two identical classes offered at 1:30 pm and again at 3:00 pm. Pick the most convenient time for you. This spot is for the 3:00 pm slot. Click here to go to the 1:30 pm timeslot.
Waitlist:
Registration can fill up quickly but we now have a convenient digital waitlist! If you are on the waitlist, you will automatically be notified if there is a cancellation that allows you to be on our class roster. If you don't receive an e-mail saying you have come off the waitlist, we won't be able to guarantee your spot but you are still welcome to come to the library at class time as we do allow walk-ins as space allows. Participants on our digital waitlist will be given priority, followed by those who sign up for the waitlist in the library.
