Summer Fun for children ages 9-11: Improv with Excused Absence Comedy In-Person

Join the Fun!

Children ages 9-11 meet every Tuesday in the summer beginning June 3 through July 29.

This Week's Class:

Join Excused Absence Comedy at the Buda Public Library for a low-pressure, fun-focused Improv workshop. Group games and exercises that emphasize essential Improv skills like listening, saying yes, and finding the funny in what's already there, followed by character-driven comedy created on the spot. Laughter guaranteed!

Register:

Registration for the first two weeks of summer opens on May 12 at 10:00 am. You can find the registration link below. Please make sure you are registering for the correct age range as we gear our classes specifically for this age group. You can find the registration link below. There are two identical classes offered at 1:30 pm and again at 3:00 pm. Pick the most convenient time for you. This spot is for the 3:00 pm slot. Click here to go to the 1:30 pm timeslot.

Waitlist:

Registration can fill up quickly but we now have a convenient digital waitlist! If you are on the waitlist, you will automatically be notified if there is a cancellation that allows you to be on our class roster. If you don't receive an e-mail saying you have come off the waitlist, we won't be able to guarantee your spot but you are still welcome to come to the library at class time as we do allow walk-ins as space allows. Participants on our digital waitlist will be given priority, followed by those who sign up for the waitlist in the library.
