Teen Club (ages 12-18): Improv with Excused Absence Comedy In-Person

Join the Club:

Teens meet every Monday in the summer beginning June 2 through July 28. Each class is an hour but we love to give our teens some extra time to socialize and finish up projects so all participants are welcome to stay until 3:00 pm.

This Week's Class:

Join Excused Absence Comedy at the Buda Public Library for a low-pressure, fun-focused Improv workshop. Group games and exercises that emphasize essential Improv skills like listening, saying yes, and finding the funny in what's already there, followed by character-driven comedy created on the spot. Laughter guaranteed!

Register:

Registration for the first two weeks of summer opens on May 12 at 10:00 am. You can find the registration link below.

Waitlist:

Registration can fill up quickly but we now have a convenient digital waitlist! If you are on the waitlist, you will automatically be notified if there is a cancellation that allows you to be on our class roster. If you don't receive an e-mail saying you have come off the waitlist, we won't be able to guarantee your spot but you are still welcome to come to the library at class time as we do allow walk-ins as space allows. Participants on our digital waitlist will be given priority, followed by those who sign up for the waitlist in the library.
