Self-Care Saturday: the Quick Reset In-Person
Join the library in practicing self care on Saturdays this summer! Self-Care Saturdays are held at 10:30 am on the second and fourth Saturday of the month with each class being a different self-care topic or tool!
The Quick Reset Process is a simple attention experiment developed to help you come back to your neutral/central point very quickly. Using elements such as breath, peripheral vision, external and internal awareness, and internal resource state mapping, The Quick Reset Process gets you out of a funk and can help you shake off an unresourceful mindset so you can move through your day with ease.
Here are a few examples when you could use The Quick Reset Process...
- When you transition between work and home for the day
- Before or after difficult conversations
- Between phone calls during a busy day or short interactions
- After interacting with someone who's expressing anger or frustration
- During the grieving process, after you have honored your sadness
- After something scary happens
- Before you sit down to focused on work
- Every 20 minutes throughout the day
- Anytime you want to feel more energized calm
