Credit 101 and Avoiding Financial Scams In-Person
The Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner will make a two-part presentation, combining the topics of credit and financial exploitation. The first portion of the presentation, "Credit 101", will review which activities impact your credit report and how to dispute inaccurate items on your report. The second part, "Avoiding Financial Exploitation". will show you how to recognize and reduce the risk of financial exploitation, as well as how to report it if you become a victim.
